NHIC, Corp. (NHIC), administers the Medicare program in several states. Medicare is a federally funded national health insurance program for people 65 or older, certain younger disabled people and people with permanent kidney failure. NHIC processes and pays your Medicare claims. The money comes from the Medicare Trust Fund, administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

NHIC's goal is to improve your understanding of the Medicare program. We take great care in communicating clear and consistent Medicare Part B information to you, senior organizations and advocates of health care rights. The information we provide includes benefits covered under the program and helpful points of contact.
