NHIC, Corp. is working to offer our providers a wider variety of methods and technological tools to make education more readily available. Our goal is to provide flexible training that can fit anyone's schedule, and to reduce the amount of travel needed to attend NHIC educational activities. Education Online includes Podcasts, Educational Tutorials, CMS MLN Web-Based Training (WBT) Modules and Interactive Guides which are available on demand, any time of the day. Each item is designed to allow you to proceed at your own pace. If you feel you missed something, you can go back and review the information again at any time.
Note: The NHIC, Corp. Outreach & Education team is constantly updating and creating new podcasts, tutorials and guides. Once these materials have been developed they will be posted to this page, and the supplier community will be alerted regarding their completion by a DME MAC A General ListServe message. Webinars
Webinars are live, web based, seminars conducted by the DME MAC A Outreach & Education Team. The DME MAC A Webinars are presented via telephone and the internet. The audio portion is heard over the telephone, via teleconferencing, while the presentation portion is accessed over the internet. Webinar sessions offer interaction very similar to a seminar attended in person, allowing attendees to ask questions, take surveys/quizzes, and chat with the presenters using a built-in chat room feature. Attending a webinar allows attendees to participate in the comfort of their own office, meeting room, or even their own home.
DME MAC A Webinars are offered to the supplier community FREE of charge, and are scheduled periodically throughout the year. Schedules for these events are posted to the DME MAC A Events and Seminars page. Please check back for dates and topics, or keep up to date with additions to our webinar schedule by subscribing to the DME General Interest ListServe.
