Benefits of ACT Calls
The ACT calls are an opportunity for suppliers to interact directly with the NHIC DME MAC A on various topics. Similar to the Open Door Forums offered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the ACT calls open communication channels with our suppliers. These calls serve to identify issues in a timely way, provide methods of sharing information, and are an excellent tool to listen to our customers.
The Outreach & Education Team conducts the ACT calls on a quarterly basis, which are offered toll-free to participants. Participation in these calls is an important way for us to better meet the needs of the supplier community.
We encourage all suppliers to participate!
Upcoming ACT Call
There will be two sessions on the scheduled event date. The calls will begin at 10am EST and 2pm EST. Each session is scheduled to last approximately one hour.
Don’t disrupt your cash flow. Keep up-to-date with the changes!

Participation Instructions
To participate, follow these instructions:
- Dial in using the toll-free telephone number (listed above).
- Provide the participant code (listed above).
- When prompted, participants are required to speak their full name to join the call.
Once all information is provided, participants will then be placed on hold until the conference begins. It is encouraged to have as many participants as your company allows; however, phone lines are limited. To ensure suppliers have the opportunity to participate in the call, please participate as a group and try to limit to one call (phone line) per location.
Note: Ten minutes after the call begins, a block will be placed on the line to restrict further access to the call. Please be sure to call in promptly in order to participate.

The DME MAC A Outreach & Education Team is pleased to offer the following previously held ACT calls in a MP3 audio file format. Due to the size of these files, it is recommended that the files first be downloaded to the user’s computer before they are opened using an audio player (ex. Windows Media Player, iTunes). This is recommended rather than opening them within a Web browser.

- Choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..."
- Choose the location where the file will be saved.
