Educational Events for Suppliers

DME MAC Jurisdiction A offers and participates in a variety of educational opportunities to assist the supplier community in understanding Medicare as it pertains to Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies.

Note: Some non-Medicare corporations are promoting seminars called "Medicare" seminars, although they are not sponsored by Medicare. These corporations may advise providers that they must attend the seminar "to be in compliance with Medicare." Please be advised that Medicare is not associated with these seminars, and does not require attendance to meet compliance criteria. DME MAC Jurisdiction A's seminars are announced in our bulletins and on this Web site.

If you utilize information received at seminars, conferences, or workshops conducted by non-Medicare corporations and then are found to be non-compliant with Medicare law, regulations, and guidelines, you will be held liable for any incorrect information you submit to the Medicare program.

Webinars

The DME MAC Jurisdiction A Outreach & Education Team has finalized the schedule for our upcoming FREE educational Webinar* sessions. These sessions are presented via the internet and telephone. The audio portion is heard over the telephone, via teleconferencing, while the presentation is shown on a computer over the internet. Each session offers interaction very similar to a seminar attended in person. One of the benefits of attending these types of sessions is that the attendee can participate in the comfort of their own office, meeting room, or even their own home.

2010 DME MAC Jurisdiction A Symposiums - Reading the Medicare Roadmap and Navigating Your Way to Success - The DME MAC Jurisdiction A Provider Outreach & Education Team is excited to announce that we will be hosting three Educational Symposiums offering a dynamic range of topics and speakers. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with various Medicare Contractors and State DMEPOS Associations in order to enhance their educational experience and get the most out of this excellent opportunity.
