Starting Date for Local Coverage Determination(LCD) Notice Period Revised
Contractors are required to offer a 45-day notice period for LCDs. This period typically began by publishing LCD through the contractors bulletins. Effective July 1, 2002 we will discontinue printing and mailing any newsletters. Therefore, the notice period for all LCDs will begin on the date the LCD is posted on our web site.
