As more details become finalized, this page will be updated to include a list of session topics, session descriptions, and the particular room location of each session depending on the specific venue.


Upon event registration check-in, you will be provided with a packet that includes a complete program agenda as well as other important information. This information will assist you to locate the proper meeting room for your particular session.

Medicare Basics - Stop, Learn, Go with Confidence

This basic Medicare session will take you down a road with many interesting stops along the way! The first stop will enlighten you on the Medicare Program and speed you through a course of multiple Medicare Contractors. Next is a pit stop! This is where we will fill your tank with a full understanding of general coverage requirements. The finish line is where we will take you through all the unchartered territories of Medical policies and documentation requirements. Win the race and be on track with all that this basic course has to offer.


DME MAC Updates & Hot Topics - Maneuvering through the Changes

Presented by Provider Outreach & Education

This session will take you on a voyage which will guide you through important updates and changes that affect the DME MAC program. The training will maneuver through the best course of action to incorporate these changes into your everyday routine of billing DMEPOS items. Featured destinations along the voyage will include Timely Filing Requirements, Modifier Updates, PECOS Update, IVR Enhancements, Educational Tools and much more.


Mapping the Appropriate Modifiers to Your Procedure Codes

This session will guide you on an exploration where you will discover the proper positioning of modifiers to avoid veering off course. The itinerary of this session will include Payment Categories, LCD Related Modifiers, and Repair/Replacement Modifiers.


Get Ready for DMEPOS Competitive Bidding

Presented by: Rahshaan Martin Felder

This course is presented by a Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor representative and includes discussion on competitive bidding. This session will provide an overview of the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program. Attendees will receive updates on the implementation of the program.


Mapping Out Success with K0823 Claim Reviews

Presented by: Provider Outreach & Education

Plot your route to avoid unnecessary tolls in reaching your K0823 reimbursement destination. This education session will focus on common road blocks that result in Medicare denials. You will be provided with turn-by-turn directions that will lead you to preventing these errors without having to take alternate routes along the way. This session is intended for an audience familiar with power mobility devices (PMDs).


DME-OPOLY - Where Knowledge is Your Final Destination

DME-OPOLY will take you on a journey through the world of Durable Medical Equipment. This board game/trivia session will entertain while leading you down a road to learning. Suppliers will travel as teams around the DME-OPOLY map and will be required to answer DME and documentation related questions to advance and be the first team to reach the final destination.


Orthotics and Prosthetics Billing and Documentation

Presented by: Provider Outreach & Education

This session will provide directions on how to avoid and correct the roadblocks of Orthotic & Prosthetic claim rejections and denials focusing on AFO/KAFOs, Knee and Spinal Orthoses as well as Breast, Eye, Facial and Lower Limb Prosthetics. The last stop will include a special trip down documentation road.


Maintaining My Medicare Billing Privileges (NJ & MD Locations Only)

This interactive session will provide participants with industry enrollment guidelines. Reporting changes of information and tips for making your application process seamless will also be discussed along with information on Internet-based PECOS for supplier enrollment.


Respiratory CERT and Probe Review - The Driving Force!

Race through your documentation requirements and get the checkered flag. This course will take you on a scenic ride to show you all the common errors cited by the CERT and Probe Reviews. After you complete your trip, you will be able to file your claims with the proper documentation on hand to avoid any unforeseen accidents regarding your respiratory claims.


Navigating the Enteral Nutrition LCD Requirements

This session will navigate the proper billing of Enteral Nutrition. The road map of this session encompasses a review of the Enteral Nutrition Local Coverage Determination (LCD) with destinations of coverage criteria, documentation requirements, and coding information.


Orthotic and Prosthetic Intersection - An Interactive Game for O & P Suppliers

This trivia adventure will give you the opportunity to win the race to the finish line by answering questions regarding all aspects of O&P billing including orders, documentation, modifiers, and policy specific topics.


CERT and DME: What DMEPOS Supplies Need to Know!

Presented by: Paul J. Hughes, M.D.

Suppliers will understand the benefits of CERT to the Medicare Program and providers. The CERT sampling process, report generation, and review process will be explained. Issues related to DME claims will be discussed.


What's New in MassHealth Surrounding Program Integrity (MA Only)
