NHIC J14 A/B MAC Provider Call Center - The Provider Call Center will be closed on Friday of each week from 8:00AM to 10:00AM effective September 18, 2009, for their weekly training sessions. Customer Service Representatives are available on the Reopening Request Line Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and 12:30 PM-4:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM-12:00 and 12:30-4:00 PM.

warning icon HIGLAS Impact on Overpayment Demand Letters
Please note that as of the May 8, 2010 Medicare Part B will transition to the new HIGLAS system. As a result the second demand letters and Intent to Refer letters that will be generated for account receivables established prior to cutover will not include a copy of the first demand letter. The second demand letters and Intent to Refer letters will state that a copy of the previous demand packet is enclosed however this will not occur until September 2010. If you should require a copy of the first demand letter please contact NHIC Customer Service at 866-801-5304 and a copy will be provided.
