2006 Pricing Equivalency for Automated
Tests
Pricing of automated tests is
based on the total of actual tests performed whether billed individually or as
part of a panel test. NHIC will use the
pricing equivalency table below to calculate the value of the number of
automated tests being reimbursed in 2006.
For example, if the total of
three automated test are performed on one blood draw from a patient the total
allowed for these tests will be $9.29, the pricing equivalent for three tests.
